    Airport Pickup

Your experience begins with a morning departure from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a magnificent sanctuary noted for its towering baobab trees and abundant elephant population. As you enter the park, the dry riverbeds and undulating plains create a stunning setting that supports a diverse range of wildlife. During the dry season, up to 300 elephants can be observed gathering near the Tarangire River to dig for subsurface water sources. The park is also home to zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo, all of which move in sync in quest of greener pastures. The breathtaking scenery, along with the sheer profusion of wildlife, makes for an exciting beginning to your safari.

Your afternoon will be spent on an exhilarating game drive, where you will have the opportunity to see predators such as lions and leopards lurking in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to strike. The scant vegetation of Tarangire gives good visibility, allowing you to see the natural interplay between prey and predator. Bird fans will be pleased to know that the park is home to over 500 bird species, including the vibrant yellow-collared lovebird and the majestic martial eagle.
